As an entrepreneur with an online business, there are a LOT of tools that I use regularly to help my biz run smoothly and to help me get things done faster. In this post I want to cover my favorite tools for entrepreneurs.

Organizational Tools for Entrepreneurs

My favorite organizational tool is Trello. I’ve been in love since hello. Trello allows me to organize my personal life and my biz. I use it to plan my schedule, to track my client projects, and so many other tiny details that I’d never otherwise remember, like my brand color hex codes.

If you don't use Trello yet, get on it! Like, stat.

Entrepreneurs Need Leads & Sales

Automated leads and sales are generated with funnels. I started on Leadpages, then converted to ClickFunnels.
At first, I loved it, sorta like a high school romance where you’re giddy and having fun.

And then as my business grew, I began to build funnels for clients on many different platforms. Now, I build on Get Response, Mail Chimp, Kajabi, SquareSpace, WordPress, and a few others.

Some of those are really terrible. Like the kind of terrible where something in your cooking goes awry and you wouldn’t even feed it to your dog. Or when you lose your ice cream cone to the concrete. That kind of terrible.

I recently discovered DropFunnels and it’s about as magical as that moment in Battle Angel: Alita when Hugo first introduces Alita to chocolate. …Yeah, like, “Where have you been all my life?

It’s really that good, and if you have an online biz you should absolutely check it out right here.

Not only is it super user-friendly and easy to use, it’s Tasmanian Devil fast. Your conversions can increase by as much as 30% just being on this platform.

It’s built on the WordPress platform and is drag-and-drop easy-peasy. You can even build your website ON DropFunnels…which I love, because honestly, me and WordPress just do NOT get along.

I’m not even kidding. If you have a funnel, click here to see for yourself.

Multi-purpose Tool for Social Media et al.

I couldn’t talk about the best tools for entrepreneurs without mentioning Canva. Wow. So simple, yet so many uses. I use Canva for everything social media, as well as images for the blog and other content.

You can also easily create your lead magnet (also known as a freebie – that valuable content you give away for free). Beyond that, you can also make incredible images for your funnel in Canva too.

Best part? It’s free. There are definitely perks to having the paid version, but it’s really not necessary.

Want One More Great Tool for Entrepreneurs?

I’ve created a Funnel Cheat Sheet that covers the TWO funnels your business needs to automate leads and sales, the emails you need to be sending your audience, AND how to write killer copy for your sales page.
